Delete Your QuestPal Account

You can delete your account and all data either inside the app or by email — no app access required.

Option 1 — In the app (instant)

Open QuestPal → enter the Parent Dashboard (PIN required) → Settings → "Delete Account & All Data" → confirm. Deletion runs immediately.

Option 2 — By email (no app needed)

Email questpalapp@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

• Identity verification: the request must come from the email address registered to your parent account. We may ask one follow-up question (such as your child profile's first name) to confirm you are the account holder. We never ask for your password.
• Timing: we process email requests within 30 days, and typically much sooner. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

• Every child profile (name, age, grade, avatar, StarCoins, badges, streaks)
• All homework conversation history, mood check-ins, and quests
• Your parent record, PIN, subscription record, usage counters, and feedback entries
• Your sign-in account itself

What may be retained

• Consent records may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate legal compliance (COPPA), and records we are legally required to keep
• Server logs expire on their standard schedule (typically 30 days)
• Residual backup copies at our service providers expire on their standard schedules, typically within 90 days

Before you delete

Deletion cannot be undone. If you would like a copy of your child's learning history first, request it by email before deleting.
